Hide myself, inside myself So that to bring it back, required a surgery of love Required feeling sage But I wasn't safe for four years. Forced to switch the code Redness marked my cheeks Uncomfortability became a state of being Not a feeling. No matter what I was the wrong code. I choked on the punishment of it.
