Mother Nature is Bigger than We Are

Photography and Writing by Rachel McCrossin

Mother Nature is Bigger Than We Are is a meditation on the ethereal power of the natural environment and our place in it. I aimed to capture the beautiful juxtaposition of being both lost and found in the bush, and the eerie sense of freedom this creates. I am fascinated by those moments in nature when you feel like you are entirely enveloped by something beyond you. I wanted to embody this within a dreamlike mystery, with a gesture towards the supernatural.
