Artist Statement:
Both works were a view of how often personal pleasures are met and mixed with fear. There is a certain vulnerability that circulates women-based needs and gratification, specifically the independence and initiative needed to meet those needs. Overall, I wanted my works to present the danger we perceive adjoins pleasure and the true agency that women have within their own situations.
